When using the high-power EDFA, special attention should be paid to the following:
1. Do not plug or unplug the patch cords directly when it is powered on. Otherwise the output port will be burned out, then the output power will be reduced, and the EDFA will not work. It is recommended to plug or unplug the patch cord under shutdown conditions.
2. the following measures need to be taken if you have to plug or unplug the patch cords when the EDFA is powered on:A. reduce the EDFA output through the front panel buttonsB. reduce the EDFA output through the SNMP
3. Please check about the patch cord carefully before installing it. If its end is dirty or damaged, it will also cause power reduction or no output.
